F.A.Q.s

The Cannabis plant, simplified, has two species: Hemp, and Marijuana. Hemp generally contains 20% CBD, and less than .03% of THC. Marijuana generally contains more than 20% THC, and 10%+ CBD.

Cannabinoid Receptors, located throughout the body, are part of the endocannabinoid system, which is involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory. Cannabinoid receptors are of a class of cell membrane receptors in the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. More information on this can be found here.

Hemp is believed to be cultivated since 1,200 BC and its fibers were used for ship sails, clothes, paper, and many other uses. Cannabidiol, or CBD, is the chemical found in the hemp plant. Over 80 cannabinoids have been identified in the Cannabis sativa plant. CBD was made federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, which also raised restrictions on the growth and transport of the hemp plant. The bill made both hemp and CBD legal as long as it contains 3% or less of THC.

* Since CBD is not FDA approved and few tests have been conducted, no claims can be made – by any CBD products/ companies!

Statistically, more than 60% of people take CBD for anxiety, and others for chronic pain, insomnia and depression. People commonly use CBD for epilepsy, anxiety, pain, dystonia (muscle disorder), Parkinson, Crohn’s Disease, reduce inflammation, and many more. People consider our Full Spectrum gel caps a safer alternative to opioid pain management and steroids too.

THC causes people to get “high” and is the psychoactive agent, not CBD. Cannabis containing 0.3% or less of THC is considered hemp.  Approximately 25% of people do not handle THC well with feelings of being anxious and paranoia.

These are the three different types of ways that CBD is extracted from the plant.

  • Isolate is the purest form of CBD, removes all other compounds found in the hemp plant including terpenes, flavonoids, plant parts, and other cannabinoids.
  • Broad Spectrum is an extract where the compounds are preserved in the extract, but THC is entirely removed. It contains multiple cannabinoids and can deliver the full benefits of the cannabis plant (Entourage Effect) with no risk of psychoactive effects.
  • Full Spectrum is an extract of the entire hemp plant and contains less than 0.3% THC. Many people consider this as an alternative to heavy pain killers and opioids. Although it is considered legal, there is the slight chance of failing a drug test.

Some reported side effects of CBD include gastrointestinal distress, drowsiness or sleepiness, and irritability. CBD is not considered addictive. We suggest taking half or part dosage at first so that your body can acclimate and avoid any side effects.

While we personally have seen the benefits and love CBD, it is not a cure all. You should maintain a healthy lifestyle with good nutrition and plenty of exercise. We can only offer the most honest, premium products and information. We thank you for letting us be a part of your journey!
